Torture tape breaks 'democracy' facade as Georgia elects parliament (VIDEO)
Georgians are heading to the polls in what is billed as a landmark parliamentary vote for the country. President Mikhail Saakashvili's ruling party faces a tough challenge from a united opposition, with his campaign hit by allegations of corruption and a prison abuse scandal. After massive protests following the scandal, many refused to buy President Saakashvili's promises of transparency and democracy.
