March 04, 2011 "Press TV" -- American citizens are paying large amounts of money each year for U.S. defense spending, which can be used for domestic spending, Steve Breyman, assistant professor at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute said.
“Each and every citizen in the United States – man, woman and child – pays some $5,000 or so per year for U.S. defense spending much of which is associated now with the two wars in Iraq and Afghanistan”, he told Press TV’s U.S. Desk.

"Defense"? Defense against what?
Glad you asked. It seems that the all-knowing Christian God made a mistake and buried all of America's oil under the Muslim God's sandsd. The US defense department is doing the work of the Lord in correcting this mistake by stealing back this oil. As good Muslim-haters, we must all pitch-in and pay for this "religious" correction. It seems we tried once before, but the Crusades were not successful.
Ah, now I see...Killing for Christ.
Well, he died for us, so it's only fair.
I love fractured fairy tales.
