This is an actual pic of what McNuggets look like before being formed into well, nuggets. What's gross is that I bought some lunch meat and apparently they do the same thing with lunch meat. It looked like sliced meat, but it's actually a giant glob of stuff. I opened the package and the shit felt like SILLY PUDDY.

American McNuggets (190 calories, 12 grams of fat, 2 grams of saturated fat for 4 pieces) contain the chemical preservative tBHQ, tertiary butylhydroquinone, a petroleum-based product. They also contain dimethylpolysiloxane …. a form of silicone used in cosmetics and Silly Putty.

Israeli military court, for first time, admits use of torture against prisoner

The Israeli military court of Ofer admitted that Israeli officers from the Shin Bet and the police tortured a Palestinian detainee to force him to make fake confessions to charges he had nothing to do with it.

According to a report issued by the ministry of prisoners’ affairs in the West Bank, this court approved the acquittal of detainee Ayman Hamida, a 37-year old young man from Izariya area in occupied Jerusalem of the accusations made against him by the Israeli prosecution.

The court acknowledged that the interrogation means used by the officers for about two months in Ashkelon jail against the prisoner were illegal.

Arizona’s infamous Sheriff Joe Arpaio (R) spends a lot of time playing politics and apparently no time doing his actual job. The AP reports that, over a three-year period ending in 2007, Arpaio “inadequately investigated” or in some instances didn’t even work more than 400 sex-crimes reported to his office. The cases “include dozens of alleged child molestations.”

In 2006 the Republican plan to privatize the US Post Office went into effect. They passed a law that the Post Office must set aside $5 Billion the first of each year in escrow for future health benefits, thus each year the post office ends BROKE by about $3 Billion, while actually making a $2 Billion profit.

So, let’s critique the Post Office.

You can now send a letter from Key West to Anchorage in a couple of days and have it delivered to an Eskimo in about two more days…for 47 cents.

Maybe that’s too much to ask. So what should we do? Well, it’s pretty clear, isn’t it? We have to disband the Post Office, do away with its unions and privatize it so that…if in fact you can ever deliver a piece of mail to an Eskimo, it will cost you $14.95 and that does not mean all Eskimos, only those living within five miles of Anchorage. That’s the Republican solution. Kill a fly with a howitzer.



HOW REPUBLICANS ARE FORCING THE POST OFFICE TO PRIVATIZE SO UPS-FEDEX-HALLIBURTON-BLACKWATER CAN GET RICHER

The Post Office is not only not allowed to raise rates, but since 2006 it has been levied an additional $5 billion a year in future health benefit escrow funds by the Republican Congress of 2006. With that payment in 2008, for example, the Post Office went into the red by $2.8 billion.
