A Republican senator from Nevada has resigned amid a probe into his admitted sexual affair with a campaign aide.

John Ensign had been under investigation after disclosures his wealthy parents paid the aide and her husband $96,000.

The aide's husband was on his Senate staff, and the payments coincided with the sexual affair and with the couple's departure from his employment.

The US Army distributes a mandatory survey called an SFT, which stands for “Soldier Fitness Tracker”.

The purpose of this survey is to measure an individual soldier’s competency in four areas, Emotional, Social, Family and Spiritual.

Justin is an atheist, as well as a highly dedicated soldier, but according to the SFT, he is “unfit” to serve specifically because he is a non-believer.

Ft. Hood: Official Story Full of Holes

Michael Gaddy, an army veteran of Vietnam, Beirut and Grenada writes: "The facts as presented by the Army and the media [about] the shooting at Fort Hood just don't compute. People on the ground have told me cell phone towers were jammed to prevent unauthorized dissemination of information after the shooting."

A look at these articles in chronological order paints a very confusing picture.

I am not even going to speculate on what really happened at Ft. Hood, but my bovine excrement meter is maxing out at the official story.
