Democrats Upset About Trump Wanting to Drop Illegals Off in Sanctuary Cities

The Trump Administration has recently proposed the idea of dropping illegal aliens off into sanctuary cities since the Democrats are doing nothing to stop the crisis at the border.

The Left has not only turned a blind eye to the ongoing emergency at our southern border, but they are also encouraging the illegal immigration by setting up sanctuary cities that welcome these illegal aliens. So wouldn’t you think that the Left would be happy that Trump wants to drop off the illegals into their cities? Nope. Just the opposite actually.

　

Actress Alyssa Milano, who supports illegal immigration and sanctuary cities, called the idea "sick and twisted."

Julian Castro, one of the many Democratic 2020 candidates stated that this proposal shows "the cruelty of this administration."

CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin claimed that President Trump was using people like "pestilence to spread around the country."

Shouldn’t the Left like this idea considering they have been promoting sanctuary cities for the past several years?

The Trump administration’s discussion of a plan to drop illegal migrants off in sanctuary cities met with an unexpected pushback Thursday from some of the most vocal advocates of laxer immigration laws.

According to a Washington Post report published Thursday, the White House approached Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at least twice to propose that illegal border-crossers be transported to sanctuary cities.

The idea was initially floated by White House senior adviser Stephen Miller, who suggested that it would take some of the strain off the overcrowded detention centers while sending a message to sanctuary cities — most of which are controlled by opponents of the president’s immigration policies.

ICE called the proposal "inappropriate," and argued that it could present a public relations problem. In a surprise move, a fair number of liberals sided with ICE. And some of them suddenly appeared to be concerned that a rapid influx of illegal migrants might actually pose some of the threats Trump has been claiming it would.

Last Thursday, the obstructionist Democrats filed a lawsuit to block President Trump’s national emergency declaration in an attempt to stop the billions of dollars in funding that the President is demanding to secure the southern border.

Nancy Pelosi noted that, "The President’s sham emergency declaration and unlawful transfers of funds have undermined our democracy, contravening the vote of the bipartisan Congress, the will of the American people and the letter of the Constitution."

"The President’s action clearly violates the Appropriations Clause by stealing from appropriated funds, an action that was not authorized by constitutional or statutory authority," Pelosi continued.

Pelosi has also made it clear that President Trump’s border policy is "immoral" and mean spirited to illegal aliens. Knowing this, why is Nancy Pelosi furious that President Trump wants to dump the illegals into her own district? Isn’t she supposed to be welcoming of illegal aliens like she says she is?
