Sarah Palin said Sunday that her new reality television series doesn't hurt her chances in a 2012 presidential run because President Ronald Reagan was also an entertainer.

Karl Rove told the British newspaper Telegraph last week that Palin's new TLC show, Sarah Palin's Alaska, doesn't help her 2012 chances.

Hey Sarah! Regan served eight years as governor of California - he didn't quit his job like you did. Also, there are people living in California, unlike Alaska.

I recently posted that Karl Rove's less-than-enthusiastic comments about a Palin presidential run in 2012 presaged a Fox News Civil War on the not-too-distant horizon.

Now Rove has taken another, sharper shot at Sarah Palin in yesterday's (10/27/10) Daily Telegraph of London, all but flatly stating she lacks the gravitas (balls?) for the job.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai admitted to CNN on Monday that he has received cash payments from Iran after a New York Times report fingered his chief of staff as carrying bags of money back from trips to Iran.

Gen. Hugh Shelton, who served as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1997 to 2001, told ABC's Christiane Amanpour on Sunday that top officials in the Bush Administration pushed for war in Iraq "almost to the point of insubordination."

Shelton was speaking specifically of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, Deputy Secretary of State Paul Wolfowitz and other Pentagon officials.

Shelton called the Iraq war "unnecessary" and that the Bush team went to war "based on a series of lies.
