US Health Insurers Reap Record Profits in 2009

The five largest US health insurance companies set new profit records in 2009, while the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression sent millions of Americans onto the unemployment line and into poverty.

Justice Dept. Reveals Missing E-Mail Files T0/From Bush Torture Lawyer John Yoo

Large batches of e-mail records from Justice Department lawyers who worked on the 2002 legal opinions justifying the Bush administration’s brutal interrogation techniques (TORTURE) are missing, and the Justice Department told lawmakers Friday that it would try to trace the disappearance.

It’s been discovered that many e-mail messages to and from John C. Yoo, who wrote the bulk of the legal opinions on torture were missing.

“We were told that most of Yoo’s e-mail records had been deleted and were not recoverable,” officials said in the footnote.

First Rough Story Draft

A man who has not shown signs of being distraught and who has not had unusual political leanings or affiliations, gets into his small private plane, takes off and thirty minutes later crashes into a government building killing himself and a couple of people in the building.

His alleged suicide note appears on the Internet giving his reasons for the crash and suicide. He is supposedly upset with this particular branch of the governments for problems it has caused him personally.

Later, we learn that the pilot has a company dealing in secret government projects involving the remote control of drones, pilot less aircraft most often used by the military for spying or missile attacks.

The pilot’s acquaintance in the hangar where he parks his small plane and who also owns a plane, has worked closely with the crash pilot on some secret military projects.

This acquaintance’s company was once investigated by the SEC for its role in the suspicious number of “put options” on two major airlines, speculation that a company’s stock will fall, in the days before the planes of these airlines were hijacked and crashed into large buildings causing the deaths of thousands.

We now go to the Pentagon and learn that not only are they able to fly drones by remote control, but they can also fly any aircraft with 95% accuracy. This includes small private aircrafts or large airliners.

In another scene, we learn that, at one time, the crash pilot’s acquaintance worked on retrofitting five large modern airliners with remote controls. There were no airline logos on the planes. Otherwise, the interior of the plane was a fully functional passenger liner.

We finally learn that the crash pilot learns of his acquaintance’s involvement in the crash of four airliners into major buildings causing the slaughter of thousands.

The black ops people are alerted. The crash pilot’s aircraft is retrofitted for remote control navigation. The crash pilot is drugged and strapped into a similar plane as his with the his same markings and loaded with extra fuel containers. The suicide note appears on the Internet. The government makes no attempt to remove the note as evidence in a criminal investigation.

The airplane takes off and crashes into the government building. The pilot body is burned and thus no autopsy.

The ending serves two purposes. One, the crash pilot is silenced so he can not reveal his knowledge of the hijacked airliners and two, the new “homegrown terrorist” becomes a greater American fear making it hard for congressmen to vote against reauthorizing the Patriot Act as the vote takes place a week later.

Did you know that the wealthiest Americans this year made more money than they did in 1995 - 15 years ago?

American taxpayer money is being wasted in unending wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen and others we don’t even know about yet.

Billions are given each year to the State of Israel so they can kill Palestinians.

Unnecessary billions will be spent on missiles in Eastern Europe to scare Russia and by saying they are really aimed at Iran and North Korea.

Joe Stack’s Intriguing Connections And Discrepancies In Crash

Austin suicide pilot Joe Stack kept some very interesting company as far as the client list for his software programming company is concerned, including L-3, a defense contractor with NSA and Homeland Security connections that ironically dealt with air defense systems.

L-3 was also a key client for Stack’s software programming business.

L-3 was also investigated by the SEC for its role in the suspicious number of “put options” on United and American Airlines, speculation that a company’s stock will fall, in the days before 9/11.

Indeed, former NSA official Wayne Madsen wrote in September 2008 that, “A long-time L-3 Communications consultant for the National Security Agency (NSA) was, according to our source, one of the very few recipients of the live video stream that caught the first plane hitting the North Tower.”

The blog also highlights transponder flight tracking records of Stack’s plane which show that its last journey took place on August 6, 2009, and not on February 18 last week when the aircraft was slammed into the Echelon building.

One poster on the Prison Planet forum speculates, “This plane may still be in a hanger at GTU.”

Could Stack’s lightweight Piper Cherokee really have caused such drastic damage to the facade of the Echelon building when compared with other small planes that have crashed into buildings like that of New York Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle?

The huge fireball reported by eyewitnesses could well have been as a result of extra fuel canisters Stack had loaded onto the plane to inflict maximum damage, but this has yet to be confirmed by authorities.

Another startling contradiction comes in the form of Stack’s last words, which were reported by the media and apparently confirmed by audio from air traffic control tapes to be, “Thanks for your help, have a good day.”

However, audio taken from radio scanners who also recorded Stack’s last words is slightly different from that being forwarded as the official version. The second version of the audio, Stack’s final words are, “I’m definitely checking out, have a good day.”

While one eyewitness described seeing no pilot in the cockpit, another told WeAreAustin.com, “The pilot looked like he was in a comatose state; leaning back and going on in.”

Another interesting discrepancy to have emerged is the fact that Stack’s daughter told the Associated Press that Stack’s suicide note did not sound like it was written by him.

The US has all the forces they need in Iraq and Afghanistan to swiftly overtake the small Arab country. The US would leave a small force in Iraq to protect the oil fields and a few troops in Afghanistan to protect the oil pipelines and the poppy fields.

The US could then declare Saudi Arabia the American 51st State, unless Israel objected as they may want to be the 51st and then Saudi Arabia the 52nd.

Afterwards, thousands of American missiles would be deployed to the new State of “Sabia” where they would be aimed at Iran to stop them from any aggression and to protect The American State of Israel.

This strategy would fulfill America’s wet dreams. It would be payback for the 9/11 attack. They would have complete military control of the entire Middle East. They would be defending their closest ally and new state, Israel. They would have all the oil they will need for 100 years. And, there would be peace in Bethlehem.

A NATO air strike killed at least 27 innocent Afghan civilians, officials said Monday, in the third coalition strike this month to kill innocents.

The top NATO commander, U.S. Gen. Stanley McChrystal, said he was sorry to President Hamid Karzai for the Sunday massacre.

It said reports indicated that NATO planes fired at a convoy of three vehicles, killing at least 27 people, including four women and a child, and injuring 12 others.

At least 16 more innocent civilians have been killed so far during the American surge, NATO said, though human rights groups say the number is at least 19.

Last Thursday, an air strike in northern Kunduz province missed targeted insurgents and killed seven policemen.

The Sunday attack was the worst involving civilians since last September. Afghan leaders estimate 30-40 innocent civilians were killed.

A total of 2,412 innocent Afghan civilians were killed last year, the highest number in any year of the eight-year war, according to a U.N. report.

Alexander Haig asserted before reporters "I am in control here" as a result of Reagan's hospitalization due to Reagan’s attempted assassination March 30, 1981.

He said, “Constitutionally, gentlemen, you have the President, the Vice President and the Secretary of State in that order, and should the President decide he wants to transfer the helm to the Vice President, he will do so.

He has not done that. As of now, I am in control here, in the White House, pending return of the Vice President and in close touch with him. If something came up, I would check with him, of course.”

Haig was incorrect in his interpretation of the U.S. Constitution concerning both the presidential line of succession and the 25th Amendment, which dictates what happens when a president is incapacitated.

The holders of the two offices between the Vice President and the Secretary of State, the Speaker of the House (at the time, Tip O'Neill) and the President pro tempore of the Senate (at the time, Strom Thurmond), would be required under U.S. law (3 U.S.C. § 19) to resign their positions in order for either of them to become acting President.

This was an unlikely event, considering that Vice-President Bush was merely not immediately available.

Haig's statement reflected political reality, if not necessarily legal reality.

Haig later said, “I wasn't talking about transition. I was talking about the executive branch, who is running the government. That was the question asked. It was not, ‘Who is in line should the President die?’.”
