As few as one diet soda daily may increase the risk for leukemia in men and women, and for multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma in men, according to new results from the longest-ever running study on aspartame as a carcinogen in humans. Importantly, this is the most comprehensive, long-term study ever completed on this topic, so it holds more weight than other past studies which appeared to show no risk. And disturbingly, it may also open the door for further similar findings on other cancers in future studies.

While it did not take long it was expected. Former vice president Al Gore put out a statement on his blog on Tuesday and blamed the intensity of Hurricane Sandy on "global warming".
The man (Al Gore) is a moron. More to the point, he is not a scientist, he's just a politician selling an agenda of carbon taxes and carbon credits, from which he hopes to make millions.
One more time... Heat alone does not create storms. Storms are caused by a temperature differential, and severe storms are caused as much by upper atmosphere cooling as by surface warming,
But then, Al Gore once claimed the temperature of the Earth's core was "millions of degrees." It's actually about 5000 degrees C. - What Really Happened. Com

Move over, Donald Trump and Ted Turner. The Department of Defense is the world’s top property owner with holdings around the world – a fact relevant amid election-year debate about the size and role of our military.
In the United States alone, DOD occupies 1.9 billion square feet of office space – about three times the floor space of all the nation’s Walmart stores, or 10 times the office space in all of Los Angeles. Worldwide, DOD has more than 2 million people working on 5,000 sites in 41 countries.
Ten years too late, it’s good riddance to wind farms – one of the most dangerous delusions of our age
Energy Minister John Hayes has announced no more wind farms are allowed to be built in the UK.
For years now, the plan to cover hundreds of square miles of the British countryside with ever more wind turbines has been the centrepiece of Britain’s energy policy — and one supported by all three major political parties.

Over the weekend, Facebook took down a message by the Special Operations Speaks PAC (SOS) which highlighted the fact that Obama denied backup to the forces being overrun in Benghazi.
The message was contained in a meme which demonstrated how Obama had relied on the SEALS when he was ready to let them get Osama bin Laden, and how he had turned around and denied them when they called for backup on Sept 11.
I spoke with Larry Ward, president of Political Media, Inc -- the media company that handles SOS postings and media production. Ward was the one who personally put the Navy SEAL meme up, and the one who received the warning from Facebook and an eventual 24 hour suspension from Facebook because Ward put the meme back up after Facebook told him to take it down.

Amateur video captures the dramatic moment when a power substation operated by the New York utility company ConEdison exploded on Monday night.
The explosion lit up the night sky and startled New Yorkers gathered on the streets of Williamsburg, in Brooklyn, despite the high winds and driving rain that signalled the arrival of super storm Sandy.
It also knocked out power to about 310-thousand customers in Manhattan.
"Anthony Bourdain is more mainstream than ever these days, having parlayed his wildly successful Travel Channel program "No Reservations" into a forthcoming food and travel show on CNN, a reality cooking program on ABC with Nigella Lawson and a PBS program with David Chang. He owes this perhaps to his famously vulgar and slightly misanthropic take on gustatory adventuring, which despite itself, has enjoyed more popularity than notoriety.
But not everyone is a fan: Bourdain's shtick recently attracted the attention of food writer Tamar Adler, a former Chez Panisse cook and author of the popular book "An Everlasting Meal: Cooking with Economy and Grace." On Friday, Adler took to the online pages of The New Yorker's Culture Desk to accuse Bourdain, among other things, of warping the experience of eating into an obnoxious "demonstration of virility."
The tests involved a Predator B drone fitted with radio location systems found on domestic aircraft that help them spot and avoid other planes.
The tests will help to pave the way for greater use of drones in America's domestic airspace.
The flight tests took place off the coast of Florida in early August, but details have only just been released.
The Predator B used in the tests is a modified version of the Guardian drone typically used by the US navy. While such robot planes have been widely used in war zones and on military operations, their use over native soil has been restricted.
Politicians have given the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) until 2015 to prepare its air traffic systems for the use of drones, both commercial and military, over US territory.

The latest rumor making the rounds is that Barack Obama replaced General Carter Ham at Africom after the general made a move to help the US security officials at the Benghazi consulate and annex. Ham was replaced by Gen. David Rodriquez on October 18.
Tiger Droppings reported:
The information I heard today was that General [Carter] Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.
General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.

Meanwhile, the new 007 movie will be out soon, demonstrating that audiences not only accept, but embrace the idea of a "license to kill." Without critical thinking, masses learn to admire spying technology, violence and murder. We can't watch a normal healthy relationship on TV, but blood, guts and gore are OK with the censors.
Our brainwashing starts early and never stops. They even get us to gladly pay for watching it.
Rational thought is difficult in such an environment.

To me, this video makes one major point. Americans are going along with the destruction of over 200 years of kiberty, like cattle going to the slaughterhouse!
They are accepting indefinite detention without judicial oversight, torture, constant surveillance, police brutality, imprisoning of children, pedophiles in religion and sports, voting fraud through technology, extra judicial assassinations, molestation of children and adults by TSA, concentration camps built all over the USA, sending political enemies to mental institutions, poisoning of our food through GMOs, sterilization and illnesses through vaccinations, mental pacification through fluoride in our water, etc, etc, etc...
We sing louder in our churches to drown out the cries of our fellow men as they are taken to their demise.

Alex talks with investigator, film producer, speaker, author and businessman Bob Fletcher, who has produced a number of videos, including: Weather Control as a Weapon, The Bombs of Oklahoma and Exotic Weapons of Mass Control.
While the debate rages regarding whether or not the U.S. government uses weather manipulation technology to steer storms like Hurricane Sandy, further evidence shows the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been engaged in research to do just that for years.
In 2008, an article in New Scientist discussed a new DHS project that funded research into guiding and directing the intensity of hurricanes.
Citing Hurricane Katrina as the basis for the project, the Hurricane Aerosol and Microphysics Program (HAMP) worked with Project Stormfury veteran Joe Golden and a panel of other experts "to test the effects of aerosols on the structure and intensity of hurricanes." HAMP was funded under contract HSHQDC-09-C-00064 at a taxpayer price tag of $64.1 million.

"Memphis kindergarten teacher Tameka Gatewood is on unpaid suspension pending a hearing for comments she made about her students on Facebook, WMC-TV reports.
According to the station, her public posts include references to two of her Rainshaven Elemenary School kindergarteners arguing:
"How bout I blasted both of them. The girl in my class hair is nappy almost every day and the boy wears dirty clothes, face nasty and can't even read. They didn't bother nobody else when I got through with them."
"What do you think you're supposed to do? Bang! Bang! Shoot 'em up dammit! Just kidding!! For real tho - slap their ass back then Bang! Bang! Shoot 'em up dammit."
Facebook is now apparently censoring political posts which violate its "Statement of Rights and Responsibilities" as hate speech, after the social networking giant threatened to close radio host Alex Jones' account over an image of Osama Bin Laden with the words "Al-CIA-da" written underneath.
Attempting to login to Alex Jones' Facebook account, which has over 321,000 subscribers, Infowars staff were met with a message from Facebook denying access to the account until it was acknowledged that Facebook's terms had been violated.
"We removed content you posted," stated the message, underneath which was a black and white image of Osama Bin Laden with the words "Al-CIA-da" emblazoned across it. Facebook removed the image because it "violatesFacebook's Statement of RIghts and Responsibilities."
A secondary screen then warned that other infringing images should be removed if the account was to remain in good standing.
Since the image is not copyrighted, according to Facebook's terms of agreement one can only assume that it was removed because it represented an example of "hate speech," yet the picture was merely a commentary on the admitted fact that Osama Bin Laden was aided by the CIA during the cold war and that Al-Qaeda terrorists are now being supported by the Central Intelligence Agency in Syria and Libya.
Facebook advertises and poses as a public commons yet, much like Google-owned You Tube, routinely censors political content on flimsy pretexts.

The U.S. Department of Justice sued several government agencies in Mississippi last week, saying they systematically violated the due process rights of juveniles and are thus operating a "school-to-prison" pipeline in the area.
The Justice Department said children in Meridian, Miss., are routinely jailed for minor offenses, including school discipline incidents, and are punished disproportionately without due process. Black students and students with disabilities are especially affected.
The suit charges that the city of Meridian, Lauderdale County, judges in Lauderdale County Youth Court, and the state of Mississippi are all involved.
The Justice Department says that children are arrested in school and incarcerated for days without a probable cause hearing, regardless of the severity of their alleged offense; regularly wait more than 48 hours for a probable cause hearing in violation of federal constitutional rights; and make admissions to formal charges without being advised of their right to remain silent.

Bahraini authorities have banned all protest gatherings amid escalating clashes in the Gulf kingdom. It's the most sweeping attempt so far to quash anti-regime protests that've been going on in the country for nearly two years. The restrictions come after the country's police reportedly attacked anti-monarchy protesters with tear gas and rubber bullets in the capital Manama on Monday. Clashes in Bahrain occur almost daily, with around 80 people being killed since the unrest began. The country's under fire from human rights groups for its brutal crackdowns on pro-reform campaigners who are calling for more rights, jobs and education. RT gets more on this from political analyst Sreeram Chaulia.

Honey Bee Colony Collapse Disorder Explained with Dr. Wil Spencer (VIDEO)
Dr. Wil Spencer is a Naturopath, VMSP, Researcher for Nature and Author.
He has successfully completed several studies working with commercial honey bees, restoring them from near collapse to full recovery, accomplishing pollination to honey crop in the same season that treatment began.
Dr. Wil Spencer believes that pollutants malnutrition and genetically modified crops are making the bees sick as they flit from flower to flower pollinating the world. He also believesthat a well-nourished bee with a strong immune system will resist natural threats such as parasites, bacteria, viruses, fungus, and CCD.
Dr. Wil Spencer has formulated a supplementation for the honey bees' diet. It is a proprietary blend of all different kindsof minerals enzymes and microorganisms. His Vibrant Bee™ products nourish the bees and give them better digestive parameters resulting in immunity and natural chelation of environmental pollution. Not only that, but it also rebuilds reproductive vitality, cleans and decontaminates the hive, decreases mortality, and improves homing instincts, to mention a few.

Corbett Report Podcast Episode #249
Sandra Fluke. Justice for Trayvon. Kony 2012. The 24/7 news cycle is dominated by incessant coverage of topics of little significance. Reported in a completely decontextualized manner, the public flits from story of the week to story of the week so that nothing is left in their wake but catchphrases and fleeting pop culture references.
This is a method of control, and it can be used both to concentrate the public on boogeymen and distract us from the real dangers. Join us this week on The Corbett Report as we examine how the would-be social engineers manufacture (and suppress) outrage.

I'm getting over my doubts that this is going to be a serious storm for real this time, but what is weird is that an exercise was done in 1997 regarding a fictitious monster storm called...Sandy!
It's always good to be prepared anyway, and if you haven't already then you should start prepping.
I sat staring at the screen, my emotions lodged somewhere between dumbfounded and despondent. From what I was seeing, I knew I'd made a horrific mistake, and restitution must be made immediately.
I'd been told time and time again there was no going back; what's done is done, you have to accept it, there's no living in the past. But a violation this total demanded only one response from me.

Turkish police use tear gas and water cannons to try to break up a demonstration by tens of thousands of pro-secular protesters, but the march to mark the founding of the Turkish republic went on in defiance of a government ban.
The celebration of the founding of the Turkish republic has in the past few years become a symbol of the divide between Prime Minister Recep Erdogan's elected, Islamic-leaning government and its opponents who fear the country's secular traditions are in danger.
The Ankara governor's office last week denied authorization for the march, citing security reasons, and declared the gathering illegal.
Challenging the ban, tens of thousands of people assembled in the old part of Ankara, near the building housing Turkey's first parliament, to march to the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who founded the secular republic 89 years ago after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.
