BREAKING Newsweek Cover Story: Sarah Palin Still Not Running

The latest issue of Newsweek features a cover of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) with the title “I Can Win.”

Palin’s decision to pose for the magazine is ironic given that just two years ago, she chastised the magazine for doing a different cover story about her.

In November 2009, Palin called Newsweek’s cover of her in runner’s shorts “sexist” and “degrading.” S

he probably also wasn’t thrilled that the story was captioned “How Do You Solve A Problem Like Sarah?”

But now that the magazine’s title is more flattering, Palin seems to be more amenable to publicity from the “lamestream media“

US Defense Secretary Panetta told US troops in Iraq that 9/11 was why they were there although Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11

Newly appointed US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta told American troops in Baghdad on Monday that 9/11 was the reason they were in Iraq, before he was quickly corrected by his spokesman.

"The reason you guys are here is because of 9/11. The US got attacked and 3,000 human beings got killed because of Al-Qaeda," Panetta told about 150 soldiers at the Camp Victory US base.

"We've been fighting as a result of that," he said. ...

Male circumcision is practiced worldwide by both Jews and Muslims for religious reasons.

Circumcision would be outlawed in San Francisco if a November ballot initiative is passed, and activists on both sides are amping up the rhetoric, with some even raising the charge of anti-Semitism. Circumcision is the practice of removing the foreskin from the male penis, typically when the baby is a few days old. It is practiced both for medical reasons and for religious reasons.

The San Francisco initiative would bad circumcision on anyone under 18. Those in favor of circumcision say that it's healthier, and those against say that it's genital mutilation.

Apple 'to bring out a cheap and a high-end iPhone to blow away the competition'

Rumours abound that Apple will be going all out to blow away the competition with the next generation iPhone - by bringing out two versions.

The plan is to have a cheaper, lower-end model and a totally redesigned high-end device.

According to the techno geek website 9to5mac, the two phones wil be unveiled in September.

Complaint filed against TSA for patting down 6-year-old boy twice (VIDEO)

On the same day that the Transpiration Security Administration (TSA) announced that they would try to avoid patting down children, a six-year-old boy from Kirkland, Washington was patted down twice.

The family of four was on their way to DisneyLand when the boy was singled out to be hand searched.

“Immediately after this happened, my son, I hugged him and he started crying and saying, ‘I don’t want to go to DisneyLand anymore.’” Jenine Michaelis told KING 5.

The TSA has said they will take the family’s complaint seriously (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.).
