More than one in five children in the U.S. lives in poverty, according to 2010 Census data, rising from 14.7 million children in 2009 to 15.7 million in 2010.

The number of poor Americans hit a record 49 million in 2010, or 16 percent, according to new data released on Monday that showed poverty rates for the elderly, Asians and Hispanics higher than previously known.

Social Security is not Part of Government Spending!

As the battle over Raising the Debt Ceiling rages on with demands to cut 'Government Spending' I'm not hearing much about the actual causes of the debt we are now in, such as the Bush Tax Cuts for the Wealthy and the totally ourgrageously wasteful Pentagon Budget and the multiple wars we are now spending money on.

But it's making people very nervous that we do keep hearing about Social Security as if it had something to do with the problem.

Social Security is not part of Government Spending. So why do they keep talking about it right now?

In previous articles I have detailed just one of the ways the TSA and DHS are tearing apart theConstitution and the most basic fabric of American society through the eradication of our right to privacy and protection from unlawful searches.

However, in this article I am going to detail some of the ways that the DHS is actively engaging in economic warfare against the people of the United States while lining their own pockets and those of their cronies at the helms of various corporations.

The most recent example is this: despite our teetering on the age of a possible default thanks to the clowns in Washington, $72 million in our non-existent tax dollars have been guaranteed to Lockheed Martin by the TSA.

This sum was given in exchange for more naked body scanners, which have a proven track record of health dangers and invasions of privacy.

The imaging machines which just happen to take completely nude, almost pornographic images that can be removed from the monitoring station for later “use” are going to be rolled out to an additional 300 airports.
