Dear Robert Redford, If Trump Was Really A Dictator You’d Be In Prison, Or Worse

Redford said he “thought it only fair” to give President Trump a chance after the 2016 presidential election, The Huffington Post reported.
“But almost instantly he began to disappoint me and then alarm me,” the actor said. “I don’t think I’m alone.”
“Tonight it pains me to watch what is happening to our country. Growing up as a child during World War II, I watched a united America defend itself against the threat of fascism.
“I watched this again, during the Watergate crisis, when our democracy was threatened. And again, when terrorists turned our world upside down,” he said in an op ed for NBC News.
“We’re at a point in time where I reluctantly believe that we have much to lose — it is a critical and unforgiving moment.
“This monarchy in disguise has been so exhausting and chaotic, it’s not in the least bit surprising so many citizens are disillusioned.
“The vast majority of Americans are busy with real life; trying to make ends meet and deeply frustrated by how hard Washington makes it to do just that,” he said.
It shows how mind numbingly dense these Hollywood actors and actress are when it comes to politics and world history.
Could Redford point to one monarchy in history where another elected body, like Congress, thwarts the monarchs wishes?
Is he able to point to another monarchy where a non elected body, like the courts, are able to stop what the monarch wants to do?
Is there any monarchy in history that Redford or anyone could find where countless investigations are created to remove the monarch?
The answer to all of these questions is no, because a monarch is a dictator and a dictator is able to do whatever they want.
This fact is missed by these people who have no idea what they are talking about but have the chance to speak due to their fame.
As someone with millions of fans he should take his responsibility seriously as his words could affect the votes of many.
If the 2016 election is any indication they will not, but it is still something that he should consider before he speaks.
No Redford, President Trump is not a monarch. He is a president who wants to fix this nation and is being undermined daily by courts, government officials and those who have been elected to oppose him.
If he were a monarch you, and your fellow left wing actors and actresses, would be in a prison cell not writing ridiculous op eds.
