Orwell Rolls In His Grave: White House: Libya fight is not war, it’s ‘kinetic military action’

In a briefing on board Air Force One Wednesday, deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes took a crack at an answer.

“I think what we are doing is enforcing a resolution that has a very clear set of goals, which is protecting the Libyan people, averting a humanitarian crisis, and setting up a no-fly zone,” Rhodes said. “Obviously that involves kinetic military action, particularly on the front end.”

Well ain't that cute. I am sure the "colateral damage" who didn't get "minimized" might have a word to say about "kinetic military action"...if they could.

In English, what that means is, bombing the shit out of them is bound to cause a few civilian casualties like say, oh...babies, old people, shit like that. War is a bitch, but our leaders are sensitive to making it minimally bitchy.

'Kinetic Military Action' is when the US invades a country to protect it's oil interests and claims it's protecting innocent civilians.

Then, they kill the civilians claiming 'Collateral Damage' and the soldiers kill each other claining 'friendly fire'.

Then, the US spends ten years on an 'exit strategy'.
