US Justice Dept. Should Start Priest-Hunt For Boy Rapists, Past And Present

I was raised a Catholic and was an altar boy when my doubts began about the Catholic Church and eventually about all organized religions.

At that age, I learned that our pastor took vacations in Las Vegas and gambled and used prostitutes. No mention was made whether the prostitutes were women or young men.

After decades of being aware of boy-raping priests in the US and the world and knowing that the Vatican has done everything to hide and protect these low-life criminals, including paying off billions of dollars to suffering parents and moving these priests to other parishes to rape again and again, the US Attorney General should start a nationwide priest-hunt by digging up all child abuse charges made against priests.

These priests should be arrested and tried, even if the Vatican paid-off the parents of the abused.

The figures can be staggering. There are over 40,000 priests in the US plus many more “brothers” and nuns in the US Catholic Church. Figures of raping priests run from less than 1% to more than 2%. At 2%, you are talking about over 8,000 potential pedophiles. Each one attacking from a few to over 100 boys. The possibility is that over 100,000 boys have been raped by these priests in the US alone. Worldwide, this number can be staggering.

I would encourage a national priest-hunt to be started by the US Justice Department to finally bring these criminals to justice.
