Animal abuse in America's food industry. (VIDEO)







By now you have probably heard of the incident where people in Europe unknowingly consumed horse meat and were under the impression they were eating beef. People were outraged at the news and the incident brought the discussion of what really goes on behind the doors of food production companies to the forefront. Here in the US, journalists have exposed the animal abuse and unsatisfactory living conditions for animals that are raised for consumption, but do we still really know what we are eating and has anything changed? Cody Carlson, former investigator for the Humane Society, gives us an inside look on what he saw behind closed doors.
