Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Occupy Wall Street protesters: New York City will now require permits

Mayor Bloomberg said Friday that he's going to start turning the screws on the Occupy Wall Streeters.

Memo to Mayor Bloomberg:

these demonstrations are not going away, and if in fact these protests are Constitutionally protected, there are no needs for permits in public areas.

Zucotti Park is a privately owned property, owned by BROOKFIELD PROPERTIES.

But Mayor Bloomberg, please remember that if privately-hired thugs start swinging at peaceful demonstrators, it will demonstrate, in no uncertain terms, who the real enemies of the American people really are.
