The US has displayed the world's most comprehensive collection of works by Salvador Dali's in a new Surrealist museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The new glass-and-concrete building replaces the old Dali Museum with a doubled exhibition space and improved hurricane protection.
The $36-million Dollar museum was opened during a ceremony on January 11, 2011, attended by Princess Cristina of Spain as well as reporters and art lovers.
