Sheriff: 'Shoot at a law enforcement officer, expect to die'

Keith Ritchie, 39, was shot and killed after deputies said he opened fire on them, wounding a K-9.

Hernando County (Florida) Sheriff Richard Nugent has a warning for would-be suspects in officer-involved shootings in his county.

"If you shoot at a law enforcement officer, expect to die," he said. "We are not going to stand for it."
