Talk show host Rush Limbaugh boldly said he would go to Costa Rica for medical treatment if the healthcare reform of President Barack Obama was passed.

Whether that happens or not, and most people think not, thousands of American medical tourists do go to Costa Rica every year.

Life expectancy in this little Central American country surpasses that of the United States. Luxury private hospitals offering treatment at discount prices are what really draw Americans to Costa Rica every year.
