This CNN article says Phizer marketed a drug called Bextra not approved by the FDA because it caused heart attacks and strokes (lovely).
Any company convicted of fraud is not allowed to participate in medicare and medicaid.
Because of the financial system is collapsing and Phizer has so many people on so many of their patents they were allowed to make a fake corporation called Pharmacia & Upjohn Co. Inc then had it plead guilty on their behalf,
...all so they could keep selling drugs to us and not get in trouble
