Former US Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has agreed to address a major investor group in Hong Kong, requesting no media coverage on the event.

Palin, scorned by the media during last year's US presidential race for her inexperience in foreign affairs, is due to address hundreds of financial big-hitters on US foreign policy, healthcare, and China at the CLSA Investors' Forum on Wednesday.

The forum is one of the top-ranked equity brokers and financial-services group's trademarks where the keynote speaker plays an important role in attracting investment.
