Iraqi Shoe Thrower Is Released, Claiming Torture

On the same day that an Iraqi journalist who hurled his shoes at former President George W. Bush was freed from prison, he said that he was fleeing Iraq, fearing for his life, and claimed that he had been tortured while in jail.

    Yep, he may have dodged the real shoes but the political shoes hit him square in the face.
