As NASA's future remains uncertain, more private companies are stepping up to the plate with plans to send paying passengers on joy rides to space. In a remote desert in in Southwest New Mexico, the fist "purpose-built" spaceport is gearing up for the first commercial spaceflights projected to take-off in 2014.
