Mass protests in the Lebanese capital have descended into riots - with the army firing tear gas to control hundreds of angry demonstrators. They tried to storm the government headquarters in Beirut, after the funerals of those killed in Friday's car bombing.

A growing number of Lebanese accuse the regime in neighboring Syria for Friday's deadly blast. Political analyst Omar Nashabe says a thorough investigation is needed before any blame is laid.
