A CT woman is charged of driving under the influence ... of hand sanitizer. The charge, however, is DUI (VIDEO)
"A Connecticut woman is accused of driving under the influence ... of hand sanitizer. The charge, however, is driving drunk, CBS Connecticut reports.
According to The Middletown Press, police say 36-year-old Jennifer Wilcox drank half a bottle of hand sanitizer and had a blood alcohol level of .17 before almost crashing into another vehicle on Oct. 5.
Wilcox told WTNH-TV that she drank the hand sanitizer of her own free will.
"I just saw it there so I drank it," Wilcox told the station.
WTNH reports that Wilcox drank the equivalent of 32 shots of vodka."* Cenk Uygur and Sam Schacher (Host of PopTrigger) break it down, and talk about some other "innovative" ways people get drunk.
